CNC Machining & Fabricated Products

2019

Justin McDonaldComment

Wow, where do I start? Sorry for the delay on blog activity. 2018 was a very interesting year. In May we welcomed our second child to our family. I basically put business on the back burner as much as I could to try and be the best dad I can be when kids need it the most. As of now, Harlee is almost 8 months old, and Finley is gonna be turning 5 in March. He is everything I ever wanted in a boy, and keeping us on our toes.

The plan for 2019:

Take everything I have learned about machining in the past 2 years, and plow through the parts I have made, while making them better, along with easier to manufacture. I’m going to do the best I can at getting inventory in stock. I have a new version of the ABA SRI I’m trying to get done, along with some special edition parts I will be releasing that will be some small batch stuff! Also the 3.6 VR6 version of the head flange and full DIY kit should be ready during the first quarter sometime. The 2.5 has been put on hold for a bit, but i will get it! The other big question i get is the 2.8 24valve head flange. I’m hoping to have that full get developed soon also.

The other project I have been working on, is The Smurf race car. We are shooting to get the ABA engine into the 8’s this year. This has taken a lot of my free time up. But we hope it will be well worth it. Spring time will be some shake down runs. Hopefully in July we will get to take it out to New Jersey, and bring a couple of friends/cars with us for Waterfest!

Personal car project, the MK3 GTI VR6 that landed in my lap last year, the 276 cams and SRI will be thrown on it as soon as I am done working on the race car.

Ill do my best to get a blog post up a bit more often to keep people up to date!

Once again thanks for all the awesome support!
